The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially announced a global partnership with Suzuki Motor Corporation ahead of a busy schedule of continental tournaments. The agreement designates Suzuki as an Official Global Partner of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025 and the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2026, among other competitions.
The partnership agreement was signed on 11 November 2025 in Hamamatsu, Japan, by CAF General Secretary Véron Mosengo-Omba and Yusuke Kato, Managing Officer and Executive General Manager of Automobile Marketing for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Suzuki Motor Corporation.
Under the deal, Suzuki’s sponsorship extends beyond AFCON, covering four of CAF’s flagship tournaments — including the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League 2026/27 and the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup 2026/27.
According to CAF, the collaboration aims to elevate fan engagement, celebrate African football excellence, and strengthen CAF’s global commercial platform.
Commenting on the partnership, Yusuke Kato expressed enthusiasm about Suzuki’s involvement in African football:
“We are very pleased to have concluded a sponsorship agreement with CAF.
Sport has the power to connect people and nurture hope for the future.
Through this partnership, we aim to strengthen the ties between Suzuki, soccer, and Africa, enhancing Suzuki’s brand presence across the continent.
We will continue to support those who love soccer by delivering the joy of mobility and enriching their daily lives.”
As CAF and Suzuki embark on this new chapter, both organisations have called on fans, communities, and businesses across Africa and beyond to join in celebrating the unity, opportunity, and excellence that define African football.
