The draw for the qualification campaign of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) PAMOJA 2027 will take place at the headquarters of the Egyptian Football Association in Cairo on Tuesday, 19 May 2026.

A total of 48 nations will discover their group-stage opponents ahead of the continental showpiece, which will be jointly hosted by Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania from 19 June to 17 July 2027.

The draw ceremony will begin at 15h00 local time (12h00 GMT) and will be streamed live on CAF TV.

African football legends Max Alain Gradel, William Troost-Ekong, Essam El Hadary and Trésor Mputu are expected to assist with the draw proceedings.

The tournament finals will feature 24 teams competing across the three East African host nations.
