Motsepe Foundation Championship side Upington City FC have confirmed the return of Thulani Nkosi as the club’s head coach.
Nkosi rejoins the Northern Cape outfit after previously leading the Citizens to promotion to the Motsepe Foundation Championship and overseeing the club’s record 42-point campaign.
Nkosi is also expected to strengthen his technical team in the coming days by bringing in additional members of his coaching staff ahead of the new season.
The appointment marks Nkosi’s return after a season with Selwana White Vultures in the Limpopo ABC Motsepe League Stream A. Under his guidance, White Vultures finished fifth on the log with 33 points from 22 matches, recording eight wins, nine draws and five defeats.
Upington City described Nkosi’s return as a homecoming, expressing confidence that he will help the club build on its previous successes.
