Mamelodi Sundowns winger Kobamelo Kodisang has returned to European football, joining AVS Futebol SAD (AFS Vila das Aves) in Portugal on a season-long loan deal. The move includes an option to make the transfer permanent at the end of the 2025/26 season.
The 25-year-old South African international struggled for regular game time at Sundowns, managing just 13 appearances with two goals and two assists last season. With limited opportunities under the club’s star-studded squad, Kodisang sought a move to reignite his career.

Kodisang, previously made a strong impression in Portugal with Moreirense, scoring 11 goals in a single season, and had a stint at Braga B.
