PEP continued its investment in grassroots sport by hosting a PEP Mini Netball Festival at Laerskool Wynland on Saturday, 1 August, bringing together young players from participating schools for a day of fun, learning and competition.

The festival, which ran from 08:00 to 13:00, featured interactive coaching activities and friendly matches designed to help participants develop their netball skills, build confidence and strengthen teamwork in a supportive environment.

Held as part of Women’s Month celebrations, the event also highlighted the importance of creating opportunities for young girls to grow through sport while fostering leadership, resilience and self-belief from an early age.

The Worcester event forms part of PEP’s nationwide Mini Netball programme, which continues to strengthen grassroots netball across South Africa while inspiring the next generation of female athletes to pursue their sporting dreams.
