CAF Champions League title holders Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed the signing of national under-20 captain Lazola Maku.

The 19-year-old went on trial in Austria with the hope of finding a club, however, he has now penned a deal with Masandawana.
Maku was captain of the national under-20 that recently won the COSAFA U/20 Youth Championships tournament in Mozambique under the guidance of coach Raymond Mdaka.
“Lazola Maku joins the yellow family. New colours, new chapter, same ambition. Welcome to Bafana Ba Style Lazola,” Sundowns confirmed on Tuesday morning.
