Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies have officially appointed Asa Rabalao, a former goalkeeper for the team, as their new youth coach. The 28-year-old, who was recently released as a player just weeks ago, will now bring her experience and knowledge to developing the next generation of talent at Sundowns.
Rabalao, a passionate and dedicated footballer, spent several years with Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies, where she played an important role in the team’s successes over the years. Having been a part of the squad during their rise to prominence in South African women’s football, Asa brings a wealth of experience both on and off the field.
Congratulations, Asa! We know you will make us proud,
the team stated in their announcement, expressing confidence in her abilities to lead and nurture young talent within the club.
As a coach, Rabalao is expected to use her extensive understanding of the game, combined with her leadership skills, to inspire and guide future stars of the game. Her transition from player to coach marks an exciting new chapter for both her career and Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies.
