Former Mamelodi Sundowns forward Cassius Mailula is on the verge of completing a sensational return to Chloorkop following his departure from Major League Soccer side Toronto FC.
The South African international recently parted ways with Toronto FC after both parties agreed to a mutual termination of his contract. His exit was confirmed last week by his representatives, PManagement.
Mailula’s expected return would mark a significant homecoming for the striker, who left Sundowns for the Canadian club in 2023 after emerging as one of the club’s brightest attacking talents. His arrival is set to further strengthen the Brazilians’ squad ahead of the 2026/27 season.
