Golden Arrows secured a 2-1 victory over Orbit College at Olympia Park Stadium in a lively betway premiership encounter that came to life in the second half.

After a quiet opening 45 minutes, the match sparked into action in the 58th minute when Junior Dion opened the scoring for Abafana Bes’thende, netting his 13th goal of the campaign to give Arrows the lead.

However, Orbit College responded almost immediately, with Ben Motshwari restoring parity just two minutes later to make it 1-1 and set up a tense finish.

Arrows regained control in the 69th minute when Khulekani Shezi found the back of the net, scoring what proved to be the decisive goal as the visitors held on to claim all three points.

The result sees Arrows walk away with a hard-earned win after a competitive second-half battle.

Meanwhile, in the day’s other fixture, Marumo Gallants and Siwelele played out a goalless draw at the Dr Petrus Molomela Stadium.
