Magesi Football Club have promoted five talented youngsters from last season’s DDC squad to the senior team as part of the club’s commitment to developing homegrown talent ahead of the new campaign.
The club has also rewarded highly-rated centre-back Ditebogo Mofokeng with an improved contract offer following an impressive season. Mofokeng was one of the standout performers in the DDC team and also made a strong impression during his appearances for the senior side in the Betway Premiership.
In recent weeks, the promising defender had been linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs. However, Magesi FC have dismissed those reports, insisting there have been no discussions with Chiefs and describing the transfer rumours as false.
The club remains focused on securing Mofokeng’s long-term future as they continue building a squad around their emerging young talent
