Orbit College and Richards Bay FC played out a goalless draw in a tightly contested encounter.

Richards Bay made a few lineup adjustments, with Gumede starting, while Mthembu and Mthethwa returned to the squad. Orbit College also shuffled their starting XI, introducing fresh legs in key areas as they looked to strengthen both their midfield and attacking options from the outset.

Zikhali tested the home defence in the 28th minute with a shot from outside the box that rattled the woodwork.

Richards Bay’s goalkeeper Otieno was called into action in the 36th minute, producing a crucial save to keep the score level. The match remained evenly poised, with both sides creating chances but struggling to find a breakthrough.

In the second half, Natal Rich Boyz came close when Barns’ shot deflected for a corner in the 64th minute. He cut inside again in the 73rd minute but struck the post.

Richards Bay made attacking changes late in the game, bringing on Mutizwa in the 74th minute, followed by Ngema and Tuli in the 88th minute. Despite these efforts and Orbit’s disciplined defensive display, neither side managed to find the back of the net as the match ended 0-0.
