Sekhukhune United staged a thrilling 3-2 comeback win over TS Galaxy in their MTN8 quarterfinal clash at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday night.
Galaxy looked in control early on, going 2-0 up through Mpho Mvelase and Victor Letsoalo. But Sekhukhune responded just before halftime, with new signing Bradley Grobler pulling one back to spark a dramatic turnaround.
Grobler completed his brace in the second half to level the score, before Vusimuzi Mncube netted the winner, sending Sekhukhune into their first-ever MTN8 semi-final.

It was a statement win for Eric Tinkler’s side, who showed grit and character to overturn a two-goal deficit and begin their season in style.

The match featured several debutants for Sekhukhune, including Tsepo Matsimbi, Miguel Timm, Olerato Mandi, Medupi Thokolo and Bradley Grobler, all of whom added fresh energy to Eric Tinkler’s reshaped squad.
