Defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns continued their impressive run of form with a convincing 2–0 away victory over Orbit College FC at a packed Olympia Park Stadium on Tuesday evening.

The result marks Sundowns’ fourth consecutive league win and their 14th triumph in 20 matches this season. The Brazilians have suffered just one defeat so far, alongside five draws, underlining their dominance in the title race.

Goals from Reisinho and Iqraam Rayners sealed all three points, with Rayners taking his tally to 10 goals for the campaign. The victory sends Sundowns to the top of the table, three points ahead of Orlando Pirates, who still have a game in hand scheduled for tomorrow night in Soweto.

The strong travelling support from Sundowns fans added to the atmosphere at Olympia Park Stadium, with the Brazilians faithful turning out in large numbers to back their team in Rustenburg. Their unwavering support was rewarded with another confident performance, as they headed home smiling after watching their side secure yet another crucial victory.

With momentum firmly on their side, Sundowns have once again sent a clear message to their rivals that they are determined to defend their league crown
