TS Galaxy and Golden Arrows played to a 0-0 draw at Solomon Mahlangu Stadium on Sunday afternoon after an evenly contested encounter.
Both sides showed attacking intent from the start, but neither could find the final touch needed to break the deadlock.
The intensity increased in the second half as Galaxy and Arrows went at each other, creating more opportunities and putting both defences under pressure.
Despite the increased tempo, neither team was willing to give the other enough space to take control of the match.
Golden Arrows goalkeeper Maova made several important saves to keep his side in the contest and was later named Man of the Match.
However, neither side could find a winner as the match ended goalless, with Galaxy and Arrows settling for a point each.
