Mamelodi Sundowns have unveiled Fawaaz Basadien as their latest signing from Stellenbosch FC. The Bafana Bafana international, who recently captained the national team, joins Bafana ba Style after a solid campaign in the Winelands.
Basadien was a key figure in Stelliesโ historic season, making 46 appearances, scoring 7 goals, and registering 8 assists across all competitions. His contributions helped Stellenbosch reach the CAF Confederation Cup semi-finals, finish third in the Betway Premiership, and secure a return to continental football next season.
The 28-year old left back had long been reportedly on the radar of Gauteng giants, but Sundowns moved swiftly to seal the transfer.
