Mamelodi Sundowns assistant coach Steve Komphela has paid a heartfelt tribute to the late Jayden Adams, describing him as a calm, mature and immensely talented player whose actions always spoke louder than words.
Komphela reflected on Adams’ quiet personality, saying he was never one to speak often, but whenever he did, his words carried wisdom and maturity beyond his years.
“Jayden was a calm person who didn’t speak much. He was an exceptionally talented player, and when he spoke, you listened because his words reflected great maturity,” Komphela said.
He added that Adams’ passing has left a significant void within the club and among those who knew him.
“He has left a big gap in our lives. He played a very important role in the lives of his family and everyone at Mamelodi Sundowns.”
Komphela also pointed to the emotional moment of silence observed before the fifa world Last 8 fixtures as a powerful reminder of Adams’ impact on South African football.
“We will always remember him as a man of few words, but a man whose actions spoke volumes.
