Orlando Pirates were held to a 1-1 draw by AmaZulu FC at Kings Park Stadium on Wednesday evening, while Milford FC secured their first three points of the Betway Premiership season with a 1-0 victory over Siwelele FC at uMhlathuze Stadium.

At Kings Park Stadium, Pirates got off to a strong start and took the lead in the seventh minute through Tshepang Moremi, who found the back of the net to give the Buccaneers an early advantage.

AmaZulu responded before the break, with Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya converting from the penalty spot in the third minute of stoppage time to level the scores at 1-1.

The second half saw a worrying moment for Pirates as Sihle Nduli was forced off following a challenge from Ngwenya in the 51st minute. Ngwenya received a yellow card for the challenge, while Nduli was replaced by Mokobodi.

Neither side could find a winning goal as the match ended 1-1, with both teams settling for a point.

Elsewhere, Milford FC celebrated a historic moment at uMhlathuze Stadium as they claimed their first three points of the Betway Premiership campaign in their debut season in the top flight.

Siwelele started brightly and threatened in the opening stages, but Mthabela produced a crucial clearance on the goal line to keep Milford in the contest.

The Stallions eventually found the breakthrough in the 77th minute when Menzi Chili found the back of the net. Milford had earlier thought they had scored, but the effort was ruled out for offside.

Their task became more difficult late on when Thabiso Sesane received his second yellow card in the 89th minute and was sent off. Milford, however, held firm to secure a 1-0 victory and their first-ever three points of the Betway Premiership season.
