Orlando Pirates Football Club has just announced a major new partnership with Amstel Lager, naming the beer brand as its official partner. The launch took place at Orlando Stadium today, and it’s already got fans excited.

This partnership isn’t just about business, it’s a celebration of two South African icons coming together. Amstel and Pirates both stand for quality, unity, and loyalty, and this collaboration reflects those shared values. It’s a chance to bring fans closer together, building on the connection both brands have with their communities.

Sindi Sibisi, Marketing Manager at Orlando Pirates, shared her excitement, saying,

“This isn’t just a sponsorship; it’s about the people and relationships that make South African football so special. Amstel’s focus on real friendships and building authentic fan connections is exactly what we believe in. This is about entering a new chapter, one where we value quality and respect above all.”

The event was hosted by none other than Lawrence Maleka, who kept the crowd energised and engaged as the announcement was made.

Irvin Khoza, PSL Chairman and owner of Orlando Pirates, was there to celebrate the occasion, along with some of the club’s legends, media, and even musicians like Sjava and Bucie, who helped make the event even more unforgettable.
