Matchday 3 of the Betway Premiership delivered exciting action as Sekhukhune United and Kaizer Chiefs maintained their perfect starts to the season, firmly positioning themselves at the top of the log.

Sekhukhune United put on a dominant performance away against Orbit College, securing a convincing 3-0 victory. Keletso Makgalwa was the star of the match, providing all three assists, two for Vusimuzi Mcube, who scored a brace, and one for Tshepo Mokoane’s goal. Makgalwa’s brilliant display earned him the Man of the Match award.

Kaizer Chiefs, also enjoying a strong run, edged Richards Bay 1-0 at home. The Glamour Boys seem to be back to winning ways and are currently sitting second on the table, just behind Sekhukhune on goal difference.

TS Galaxy made a big statement with a 4-1 thrashing of Chippa United. Puso Dithejane was in sensational form, netting a hat-trick and claiming the Man of the Match honours.

Polokwane City earned their first win of the campaign with a narrow 1-0 away victory over Siwelele FC, marking a positive turn in their season.

Meanwhile, the KZN Derby ended in a 1-1 draw as Durban City hosted Golden Arrows in a tightly contested match.
