Venda Football Club have officially revealed their new kits, squad reinforcements and technical team ahead of the upcoming 2025/26 Motsepe Foundation Championship campaign.

The Makhado-based side showcased three striking kits for the season. The home strip is a clean white design, The away kit comes in a bold red, while the alternate kit comes in Black, The kits pay homage to legendary “Ngoma Lungundu”, a very famous drum in the Vhavenḓa culture as well as shades of Vhavenḓa traditional colour of “Ṅwenda”. The launch event was held at the Maḓi A Thavha Mountain Lodge in Makhado.

Alongside the kit reveal, Venda FC confirmed an impressive list of new signings to bolster their squad. The club announced the acquisitions of Malcolm Selvyn Jacobs, Matome Tebogo Makobela, Gregory Kevin Damons, Thato Cyril Lingwati, Sibongiseni Gabriel Ngcobo, Zwivhuya Chris Matombo, Deolin Quade Mekoag, Anathi Ngwandla, Sabulela Neo Ntombela, Rendani Lucky Ramakgapola, Motebang Sera, Ciniso Joseph Mazibuko, and Vhembe fan favourite Unariṋe “Dauda” Kudzingana.

Among the new recruits, Motebang Sera, the Lesotho international striker, stands out as a proven goal scorer with experience at the highest level. Gregory Damons, a versatile full-back, brings energy and pace on the flanks, while Thato Cyril Lingwati, a seasoned defender, is expected to add stability and leadership at the back. Midfielder Sibongiseni Gabriel Ngcobo is tipped to inject creativity and control.

Perhaps the biggest cheer was reserved for the return of Unariṋe “Dauda” Kudzingana, a Vhembe fan favourite whose passion and attacking flair have made him a household name among Vhembe football lovers. Kudzingana previously played for club in the Limpopo ABC Motsepe League days, when they went by the name of Venḓa Football Academy.

The club also unveiled its technical team structure, led by experienced Head Coach Clinton Larsen, with Solly Luvhengo serving as Assistant Coach. Nkululeko Monaheng will take charge of conditioning, while Olivier Kouadio focuses on the goalkeeping department. Mpho Malope has been appointed as the team’s Performance Analyst, with Justice Mutileni as Chief Scout and Wisani Ṋemuremelane as the team’s trusted Masseur.
