Chippa United have strengthened their attacking options with the signing of three new players as the 2025/26 Betway Premiership season gets underway. The Chilli Boys announced the arrivals of 21-year-old winger Sisanda Phoyisa Mbhele, 21-year-old dynamic left winger Bandile Dlamini, and striker Keabetswe Ramotsei. The club believes the trio will inject fresh energy, pace, and creativity into the squad.

Mbhele and Dlamini both join from Royal AM, bringing youthful flair and width to Chippa’s forward line. Ramotsei, meanwhile, adds a more direct threat up front, giving coach Sinethemba Badela another option in attack. The signings are part of a broader recruitment drive that has already seen several new faces arrive in Gqeberha in recent weeks.

Chippa opened their Betway Premiership campaign with a hard-fought draw against reigning champions Mamelodi Sundowns last Saturday. They will be looking to build on that result when they travel to the Chatsworth Stadium tonight to face Durban City, with the new signings in contention to make their debuts.
