The Moletsi Super Cup is once again bringing the football community together in Ga-Phago, Moletsi, Limpopo, as the prestigious tournament enters its second annual edition.
Organised by renowned South African sports journalist and radio presenter Mmasekepe Matsebane, who also serves as Chairman of the Mmasekepe Matsebane Foundation and United Warriors Football Club, the tournament is built around a powerful vision: using football and netball to unite communities and create opportunities for talented players.
The Moletsi Super Cup got underway on 19 September 2026 and will run until 4 October 2026, when the tournament will culminate in a major finals celebration at Ga-Phago.
The competition has grown into one of the prominent football tournaments in Moletsi, attracting some of the best teams from across all nine provinces of South Africa. This year’s edition features a highly competitive Top 32 format, promising football supporters an exciting showcase of talent.
The tournament has also attracted significant support, with Hollywoodbets among its major sponsors. The event is further supported by the King of Moletsi, Kgoshi Kgabo Moloto III, highlighting the important role the tournament plays within the local community.
Last year’s inaugural tournament was won by Mmotong LTD FC, who will be looking to defend their crown in this year’s competition.
