Orlando Pirates have confirmed their 2026 preseason tour to Spain, where they will play five friendly matches between 11 and 25 July as part of their preparations for the new season.
The tour will also provide the first opportunity for the club’s new signings to integrate with the squad. Neo Rapoo, Matome Mmolai, Mthetheleli Mthiyane, Sbangani Zulu, Bohale Ngwato and Ghampani Lungu are all set for their first preseason with the Buccaneers.
The Buccaneers will begin their campaign against Córdoba CF on 15 July before taking on Cádiz CF on 18 July. They will then face Saudi Arabian side Al Ittihad on 21 July, followed by Las Palmas on 22 July, before wrapping up the tour against NEOM SC on 24 July.
Most of the fixtures will be played at the Marbella Football Center, with the clash against NEOM SC set to take place at the Estepona Football Center.
The tour will provide the technical team with an opportunity to build fitness, integrate new arrivals and fine-tune preparations ahead of the 2026/27 season.
