Meanwhile, the reigning champions continued their title defense with a solid 2-0 win away against Magesi. Goals from Jayden Adams and Peter Shalulile helped them secure all three points, moving them up to third place on the log as they look to close the gap at the top.
AmaZulu also earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Marumo Gallants in a tightly contested match.
