Selwana White Vultures Set to Appoint Refiloe Diego Mohale as New Head Coach
Phalaborwa-based Selwana White Vultures are on the brink of appointing Refiloe Diego Mohale as their new head coach ahead of the 2026/27 Limpopo ABC Motsepe League campaign.
Mohale is currently overseeing the club’s pre-season preparations and is expected to be formally confirmed in the position following the departure of Thulani Nkosi, who has rejoined Motsepe Foundation Championship side Upington City.
The potential appointment would see Mohale take charge of a club he knows particularly well, having been part of Selwana White Vultures since their first season in the ABC Motsepe League.

He initially joined the club as a goalkeeper coach before being promoted to the dual role of goalkeeper coach and assistant coach last season. During his time with the club, Mohale has worked under three different head coaches, giving him considerable experience within the team’s technical setup and a strong understanding of the club’s structures and playing personnel.
Before joining Selwana White Vultures, Mohale gained experience at another Limpopo ABC Motsepe League outfit, Munaca FC, where he served as goalkeeper coach. He has also worked with various junior teams, further developing his coaching experience across different levels of the game.
Mohale also holds a CAF C coaching licence, adding to his credentials as he prepares to potentially make the step up to the head coaching position.
With pre-season already underway under his guidance, Selwana White Vultures appear to be moving towards continuity by promoting someone who has been closely involved with the club since its arrival in the provincial third tier.
An official announcement on Mohale’s appointment is expected ahead of the start of the 2026/27 Limpopo ABC Motsepe League season.
