Nabi to Miss Chiefs’ Season Opener
Kaizer Chiefs will be without head coach Nasreddine Nabi for Sunday’s sold-out Betway Premiership opener against Stellenbosch FC at Athlone Stadium.
“We regret to inform our supporters that Coach Nasreddine Nabi will not be traveling with the team to Cape Town for our opening game of the 2025/26 Betway Premiership season against Stellenbosch FC this Sunday.” – Kaizer Chiefs said in a statement
Nabi has returned to Tunisia after his wife was involved in a serious accident. The club confirmed he will rejoin the team once the situation has stabilised, urging supporters to keep him and his family in their thoughts.
