Aquila Boxing Promotions officially launched Knockout Chaos 2 fight week on Tuesday with a vibrant press conference at the newly opened RPM Performance Gym, setting the stage for a sold-out boxing spectacle this Saturday.
The event drew a packed crowd of media, sponsors, boxing fans and fighters, highlighting the growing excitement around one of South Africa’s premier professional boxing promotions. As cameras flashed and supporters filled every seat, fighters shared their final thoughts before engaging in the traditional face-offs that signalled the countdown to fight night.
Held at Kevin Lerena’s newly opened RPM Performance Gym, the venue showcased the former world title contender’s vision of creating a high-performance training hub for elite boxers, rising talent and the wider boxing community.
Knockout Chaos 2 has also attracted significant commercial backing, with World Sports Betting leading the sponsorship in association with Tigris X Discovery. The event is further supported by SuperSport, Team Lerena, South Side Hard Soda, Skynet Worldwide Express, Meat World, Herschop Pienaar Attorneys, Nasty ENRG and Little Tuscany Boutique Hotel, reflecting growing confidence in the local boxing landscape.
Returning for the second edition is the Knockout Clock, the promotion’s signature three-minute countdown that symbolises the intensity of professional boxing, where every second and every punch can change the outcome of a fight.
