Hope FC have officially confirmed the signing of experienced midfielder Miguel Timm as they continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2026/27 season.

In an official statement, the club welcomed the veteran midfielder, saying: 

We’re delighted to announce the signing of Miguel Timm, the club stated. Bringing years of PSL experience, composure and leadership, Miguel adds another important piece to what we’re building at Hope FC.

The 33-year-old brings a wealth of top-flight experience to the club, having enjoyed a career spanning more than a decade in South African football. Timm has previously represented Milano United, Maritzburg United, Bloemfontein Celtic, Bidvest Wits, Chippa United and Orlando Pirates, where he established himself as one of the league’s most reliable central midfielders.


Renowned for his composure in possession, tactical awareness and leadership, Timm is expected to add stability and experience to Hope FC’s midfield. His ability to dictate play, break up opposition attacks and mentor younger teammates makes him a valuable addition as the club prepares for the challenges of the upcoming campaign.
