Chippa United and Richards Bay FC played to a 1-1 draw at Dobsonville Stadium on Wednesday evening, with both sides settling for a point in an entertaining encounter.
Chippa took the lead in the 23rd minute when Mlotshwa found the back of the net to give the home side a 1-0 advantage going into the break.
Richards Bay came out strongly after half-time and found their equaliser just two minutes into the second half. Tuli Nashixwa struck in the 47th minute to bring the Natal Rich Boyz level and put the visitors back in contention.
Neither side could find a winning goal despite their efforts in the closing stages, as the match ended 1-1. The result sees both teams walk away with a point after a closely contested battle in Dobsonville.
