Mamelodi Sundowns have announced that they have amicably parted ways with midfielder Thembinkosi “Nyoso” Lorch. The club confirmed his departure in an official statement, sparking further speculation around his next move.
Lorch spent the previous season on loan at Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca, where he featured in their FIFA Club World Cup campaign and played a notable role in the squad. His recent absence from Sundowns’ pre-season preparations notably training on his own, has only fuelled rumours of a permanent switch to Wydad.

While Sundowns have not confirmed his next destination, multiple sources suggest that a deal to join Wydad on a permanent basis is already finalised.
Lorch made a solid impact during his short stay at Chloorkop, recording 7 goals and 4 assists in 26 appearances.
“The Yellow Nation thanks and celebrates Thembinkosi Lorch,” the club said in their official announcement.
