Highbury FC have announced the signing of experienced defender and winger Wayde Jooste ahead of the new season.
The Port Elizabeth-born player returns to the Eastern Cape after an accomplished career in the Betway Premiership. Comfortable at both right-back and right wing, Jooste adds valuable versatility and top-flight experience to the Highbury squad.
The 34-year-old has previously represented Bloemfontein Celtic, Golden Arrows, Stellenbosch FC and Orlando Pirates, making him one of the club’s most top-flight experienced new arrivals.
In announcing the signing, Highbury FC welcomed their hometown talent back to the Eastern Cape, with supporters eager to see Jooste in the club’s yellow and blue colours.
