Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the departure of winger Tebogo Potsane, bringing an end to a brief stint at Naturena. The 31-year-old joined Chiefs in July 2023 from Royal AM but struggled to cement his place in the team.

Last season, Potsane made 7 appearances for Amakhosi without registering a goal or assist. Injuries and a lack of regular game time limited his impact, and he was ultimately left out of the club’s plans ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Before joining Chiefs, Potsane featured for Free State Stars, Bloemfontein Celtic, and Royal AM. He has made over 120 appearances in Premier Soccer League (PSL), with his best performances arguably coming in the colours of Bloemfontein Celtics and Royal AM.

“As Kaizer Chiefs continue to prepare for the upcoming season, the Club and midfielder Tebogo Potsane have parted ways amicably.
We thank him for his contributions and wish him all the best in the future.” – Kaizer Chiefs said in a X “formerly Twitter) post
Potsane is now free to sign for any club of his choice.
