Magesi FC remain bottom of the table following their 2–0 defeat to Lamontville Golden Arrows at the Seshego Stadium on Friday night. Junior Dion scored a brace, first opening the scoring in the 46th minute and added a second in the 53rd minute.

The match saw both sides reduced to 10 men. Kgomoto Mosadi received his second yellow card in the 38th minute for Magesi, while Isaac Cissé was sent off in the 62nd minute for Golden Arrows.
The result leaves Magesi with just 11 points from 16 matches, anchored at the foot of the log.
On Saturday evening, Polokwane City played out a 0–0 draw against Siwelele at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium. The stalemate sees Rise and Shine sitting 7th on the table with 25 points from 17 games, maintaining a steady top-half presence.

Sunday brought positive news for the province as Sekhukhune United secured a 2–0 victory over Orbit College. Bradley Mojela netted a brace, striking in the second minute before sealing the win in the 74th minute.

Babina Noko now sit third on the table with 32 points from 18 matches, strengthening their push for continental football qualification.
