Former Kaizer Chiefs co-coaches Cedric Kaze and Khalil Ben Youssef have both been nominated for the 2025/26 PSL Coach of the Season award.
The Premier Soccer League confirmed the nominees across its various end-of-season award categories, with the winners set to be announced on 27 July 2026.
The nominations come after both coaches secured new roles ahead of the 2026/27 Betway Premiership campaign.
Durban City have appointed Khalil Ben Youssef as their new head coach, succeeding Pitso Dladla following the club’s successful Nedbank Cup-winning season.
Meanwhile, former Kaizer Chiefs co-coach Cedric Kaze has officially begun work at Sekhukhune United after being appointed as the club’s new head coach following the departure of Eric Tinkler. The Burundian tactician has already started preparations for the new Betway Premiership season.
The nominations serve as recognition of the impressive work both coaches produced during the 2025/26 campaign and add further significance to their new appointments as they prepare to lead their respective clubs into the upcoming season.
