Magesi have unveiled their new kit as well as several new signings, as their gear up for the 2025/2026 Betway Premiership season under new Head Coach, John Maduka.

Amongst the new signings are former Venḓa Football Club duo, Banele Gama and Kgothatso Mariba. Gama joins on loan from Sekhukhune United, The 25-year-old Central midfielder caught the eye with consistent performances at Venda FC, making over 20 appearances and scoring three goals in the 2024/25 campaign. Mariba, also 25 years of age had built himself a reputation as one of the National First Division’s brightest prospects, having made over 100 appearances for Venḓa Football Club, spanning as far back as their ABC Motsepe League days. He had joint the club in the 2020/21 season, their final season in the ABC Motsepe League.

Wonderboy Makhubu, who spent last season on loan at Dikweena Tsa Meetse, also returns from Sekhukhune United. He is joined by former Pretoria Callies, Casric Stars and Tuks attacking midfielder Khomotso Mosadi.

Dikweena Tsa Meetse also announced Reagan van der Ross, a versatile midfielder who previously featured for clubs like Bloemfontein Celtic, Royal AM, and Maritzburg United, and Abbey Junior Seseane, a young forward who make waves in the National First Division with Casric Stars, and widely known for his pace and attacking threat.

Rounding off the new arrivals are Vincent Mashego, a hardworking midfielder known for his defensive grit and sharp passing, hai arrives from Pretoria Callies, and another returnee in  Mcedi Vandala, known for his pace and creativity, who spent last season with Dikweena Tsa Meetse and has so had spells with Sekhukhune United and Venda FC.

Magesi FC start their 2025/2026 Betway Premiership season with a Limpopo Derby clash against Polokwane City at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane tomorrow. Kickoff is at 15:00.
